Today's film is 'Offside' by Cafer Panahi (2006).

While I am choosing films, I make a chain of relations. Yesterday I chose a film about Kosmos, and the film was questioning the limits of universe within and between humankind.

So,

Since I started the week with a film and talking about borders I chose a film also related to borders. This time the border separates men and women.

The film is a critic on limited rights of women with a hilarious way of storytelling. Biggest part of the film is about women inside a border which is physically very weak but politically -unfortunately- very strong. But... But as every wall and border has a weak point or a crack to leak in/out, we see the ladies leaking out from this awfully funny and annoying border with a very feminine way, powerful, peaceful and kind. A very must to see film.
