Johnny expected some people to raise eyebrows at his little girl looking like a regular Sim, but he didn't care about that. He knew with every fiber of his being it's his child and was ready to throw hands at anyone making stupid comments about her or Lilith.
Lilith expected Jenny to be a little more enthusiastic about her grandchild, but instead got a silent treatment the whole day. She was still well-fed and allowed to rest, but it definitely felt awkward and Lilith figured out it might have something to do with Jaiden not being green. In truth, Jenny was more upset about Jamie turning into a "bad boy" under Lilith's influence and ended up blaming the poor girl for her son's choices.

Jill could brag about her scores all she wanted, but Johnny knew he has something much better. He realized having Lilith and Jaiden now makes him less worried about not having perfect grades or becoming a famous athlete like he wanted to.
At the end of the day, the Smith kids were still the same as ever. Jenny hoped they could be more mature now that they're adults with their own families and responsibilities, but they couldn't stop being as silly as ever.
Jessie didn't have an easy time being grounded and not being able to see Bonnie. Jamie might've been a little mean by inviting Edith over and being affectionate with her out in the open like that. He wasn't trying to be malicious, but also he wasn't responsible for his brother's mess and wasn't going to hide his girlfriend just to make him feel better.
When Lilith was waking up in the middle of the night knowing the baby is on the way, Johnny sensed the disturbance in the force and woke up as well. He wasn't sure if he would be of any assistance, but didn't want to sleep through it just in case.
He knew he couldn't ease his wife's pain, so he tried to at least offer his thoughts and positive vibes throughout the whole process. He still kept a safe distance, not knowing if Lilith wouldn't smack him in retaliation.
In the end, a healthy baby girl was born. To her parents' surprise, she wasn't green like her dad, but that didn't stop Johnny from immediately loving her all the same. They decided to name her Jaiden and continue the weird Smith tradition of using names with J.
