Do you ever allow your inmates to wear white crew socks instead of the orange??
Sure. We have white socks. They are generally reserved for our chain gang convicts and worn with work boots. But we can certainly put your feet in them.
So, yes you can have white. Just be certain to ask for them ahead of your intake date so we are sure we have them. If you don't, you may get issued orange!
But our "go-to" is orange. Why? It ties in to your damned uniform and it hides the dirt on your feet. It is one more item that clearly says convict.
