And now for part 2 of OC asks from @storyknitter though I fear I’m even more braindead than I was last night hahahaha. And I feel like being super random and going back in time to visit my old tabletop girl, Jak, just for a little personal nostalgia. She’s a Shistavanen trooper-turned-Mando that I played for a few years in old school Saga Edition Star Wars Tabletop (predating all this fancy Edge of the Empire business) and I loved her a lot! The squad popped out of some weird cloning vat force box things thinking their purpose in life was to defeat the Yuuzhan Vong, turns out they were there to vanquish some much larger and more terrifying interdimensional horror-terrors. Good times, many dice. In fact, in the spirit of things I’m gonna roll to see what questions to answer for her!
24. Honesty or charity?
> Oh fun! This is a no brainer for Jak, honesty all the way. Not only was she dedicated completely to the squad with her whole heart and soul, seeing no reason whatsoever to extend charity to any outsiders, but I also wrote in honesty as a literal species trait for her. I played her quite canine-body-language heavy which made it quite literally impossible for her to lie, following along the way that deception is simply not a part of a dog (or wolf’s) way of navigating the world. Following on from that was her expecting the same honesty from everyone around her; lying was utterly unforgivable to her. ‘I am not permitted to talk about this’ would guarantee more respect from her than even the mildest white lie.
20. What do they like that nobody else does?
> HAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAhahahadhfhahahahahaa *cough* rakghouls
4. Do they look good in red?
> Hmmm, I don’t think she ever wore red, and I think it’d clash a little jarringly with her ginger fur. She wears deep green well, though her prized set of beskar was matte black with blue and copper accents.
