you know how sometimes when a priest
tells you to pray it really just sounds like
the grass as it sleeps on the grave

AU-gusr Day 6: Broken Up
Libby × Jake
One of the closest to perfect couples, broken up! What could have have caused such a thing?
Jake Rose as Michael Myers in Halloween Extra Kills 1978 (2022) dir. Anthony Miller
hey, it's mercury from @mercuryasksquestions!
what does your character's ideal world look like?
Howdy!
Jake's perfect world is probably one that doesn't treat him badly. He wishes he was just like everybody else.
Michael's would be one that listens to one another and is kind
Dami's would be one that its creators didn't influence so damn much.
Thank you so much, have a good day/night!

Highlighted as one of Rolling Stone’s 10 New Country Artists You Need to Know in August, the Minnesota native grew up surrounded by music. His father and uncle were both in a Southern-rock cover band, but his friends impacted him as well. He told Rolling Stone, “I was 12 and listening to Eminem and Nirvana, but I also listened to Brad Paisley on the tractor. I was just all over. I was a farm kid, but I went to school with people who were not farm kids, so I didn’t want to own that back then, I wanted to be like everybody else. I fought it for so long, [but now] I learned what songs I want to write and how to be authentic to what my real self is.”
Rose continues by reflecting on his time in New Medicine, “I cannot tell you how much I learned in those years and how different I would’ve done it if I could go back in my shoes when I was 18 and had a record deal. I was a kid, I had no idea what I was doing. I believed everything everybody told me.”

[ Dérive | Signal Movie 2017 ]
Here at Signal we are driven by the creativity in and around snowboarding. Period. As rippers of all sorts come up, the passion to ride, progress and document is always inspiring. We are beyond stoked and honored to share this film project by one of our favorite crews Wyld Instinct. These guys have unrelentless fire and vision to make the very best of every day on snow, all while having a hell of a time along the way. Below are a few words from the man who spent his days behind the lens capturing, producing and ediiting this short feature. Enjoy.
Riders include Matt Robinson, Kyle Roles, Jake Rose, Demetri Bales, and Jake Aaronson. These guys also makes up a majority of the film crew Wyld Instinct. Look out for more coming from them later in the fall, and for many winters to come.
He played this at the Thomson square acoustic concert, tonight. Let me just say he is freaking amazing live and acoustically. I don't think I can enjoy this as much as I do hearing it live. Maybe it's because he was drunk, who knows. He is damn amazing.
