(Bad English and weird shower thoughts you have been warned)
You know what I find interesting that how we all know that mc and jake are like soulmates. Their meeting was destiny. I am pretty sure jake is mc's ideal type that's why they love him soo much. But mc also has a personality that jake adore which we can see in his profile " believe those who seek the truth doubt those who find it". Which means He meant people who are open-minded are always trying to learn more, to seek new knowledge, to dig up new facts.
People who are close-minded and stop seeking better answers typically do so because they think their current beliefs are already right, and then never doubt them or re-examine them.
And throughout the game we see how mc is open minded to other people's suggestions and opinions. At one time jessy even says that mc was very open minded about the man without a face theory which she suggested.Mc also had an option to trust dan with his all car accident think.
Yeah so within many reason for jake to fall for mc this one was kinda shown from the very beginning. (Or maybe these are just my shower thoughts)
