oh noes! why are you upset about wonder woman (the film)?

Aaaaaaahhhh. Ok. So. SO... I watched this film a couple months ago, and was really excited right? And to be fair I haven’t read the comics or whatever so just keep that in mind BUT....

When I came out of watching the film I was just...so done. Just...idk... so much about it upset me and my whole. From the villains to the themes and the writing and things like from my perspective (pls don’t hate- maybe this was just me), it almost even seemed too close to blasphemous (to the Bible/Christianity/Jesus) the way they portrayed Diana as a savior, particularly cinematically. Also, just the characterization seemed just??? so?? I didn’t like it at all. It was just...it seemed so predictable and the film overall just felt overall messy to me in nearly every single way. 

So yeah :/ 

I’m really glad for everyone who enjoyed it though, I know it was an important film for a lot/most, it just didn’t do much at all for me; however it did help get me to some important places in my life (that sounds so dramatic but actually tho) so I’m still glad I watched it.
