I was feeling very brave and bought this gorgeous pattern by @8pxl but I did not consider how Huge it really is...only after gridding the 18ct Aida did it really dawn on me that this is what 42k stitches will look like 🫠
Gridding it was So Tedious at times but the cool thing is I learned how to stitch with both hands (one feeding from the top, one from the bottom) and after the first few rows my eyes were able to tell where to stitch without counting! (I still did quality checks here and there). Next time I'll choose a less time-consuming gridding method but this just looks sooo pretty
I'm almost done hemming it (not pictured); I've set myself the deadline until my floss ships to prep this canvas and go wrap up any wips still lying around (they are all at 99% done which is where a Lot of my projects end their life span 😅)
I'll try to take progress pics! I absolutely do not have a schedule nor can I reliably predict how long it'll take me...my last one was 12k stitches and it took me...eh, about three months of inconsistent stitching? We'll see
