i noticed even tho you mostly don't like enemy's to lovers ship there are some exceptions IE jakerose or shadowpeach and i was wondering what for you have they got that lets say lumity or catadora haven't
Well, Jake and Rose work for me because they were both friends-to-lovers and enemies-to-lovers at the same time... which is interesting and unique.
And Shadowpeach gives me Bubbline vibes... former friends/enemies that are slowly learning to be friends again, thanks to the help of a heroic boy.
I can't vibe with Lumity, because Amity was Willow's former friend/bully that Luz is befriending behind her 'best friend' Willow's back... then Luz constantly keeps secrets from Amity... even though Amity was the mean girl, Luz kinda became the jerkier one of the relationship, to both her best friend and her girlfriend.
If Luz and Amity stayed angry rivals, with Willow kinda being the peacekeeper that bonds/forgives Amity first... then seeing Amity be nicer to Willow makes Luz want to bond with Amity... then I would be more okay with Lumity.
I can't vibe with Catradora, because it's both Catra's and Hordak's faults that Glimmer lost her mom (who sacrificed herself to save everyone)... It's weird how Glimmer and everyone else kinda forgets that whole thing.
I like the concept of Lumity and Catradora, not the execution.
The heart wants to ship what it wants to ship.

This morning on my way to work while listening to E-40’s “U and Dat” ft T-Pain and Kandi Girl, this song had inspired me to write a clubbing fic with JakeRose. 😅🤣 not sure when that will happen but it will be on AO3 one day.
