Summary:

Alec makes the big decision to defy the Clave and choose Jace, what his heart wants, over the rules. For a moment he believes that everything will work out. That it’ll be fine. Until he discovers the real reason relationships between parabatai are frowned upon. Now they both must figure out if their love is worth risking the lives they’ve built.

“Jace,” Alec whispered. “What are we doing here?”
