Tense seconds pass before Alec blinks, steps back and nods. Jace makes a ‘shoo’ motion with his other hand at Sunweather before he spins and leaves.

Turning to Alec, he asks, “You ok?”

“What?” Alec responds, seeming distracted. “Yeah, it’s fine. He was being unreasonable.”

“Mm.” He’s not the only one, Jace thinks frowning, but keeps the thought to himself.
