1998. Jackie and Hyde, as parents.
James: People in JNCO jeans look like a bunch of bums.
Jackie: We don't call them bums, Jamie. We call them less fortunate.
James: Dad's mom was a bum.
Jackie: Okay, fine. She was a bum, because she was a terrible person. *With a sigh* She would've used JNCO jeans to steal a bunch of stuff she didn't need, and she probably would've hid a gun in there.
Hyde: Knock off JNCO jeans, and she would've pistol whipped me a couple times.
James is taken aback, but Jackie continues.
Jackie: Your dad was less fortunate, not a bum, because he's a good guy. But now he's more fortunate...
Hyde: I got some luck on my side, and when you've got a rich dad, the more you sleep, the more you earn.
James: Mom worked hard, even after she lost everything. And now we're rich.
Jackie: And famous, Steven.
Hyde: Uncle Cliff worked hard. Three jobs. He had nothing.
Jackie: You have to be charismatic.
Hyde: Bull. The system's rigged.
James: I'm gonna take advantage of that.
Jackie and Hyde stare at him, alarmed.
James: What? For good. No one likes being price gauged at a Bulls game.
James walks off, satisfied, and Jackie and Hyde look at each other.
Jackie: At least we're rich, so we have enough money for bail.
