Everyone is asking what's happening here so let me give my interpretation on the matter:
Two things.
Mamdani is a hell of an orator. Trump can't have him motivating his answers and talking sense in front of an audience conditioned on several months/years of fascist slop. He's batshit scared of it in fact. So Mamdani gets manipulated into keeping his answers short. And he lets it happen. He's smart enough to know what's happening, and aware that this isn't his platform or territory, so he just sticks to straight answers figuring that those who care enough will seek their own answers. And there's plenty of footage and evidence of that.
By limiting and laughing off Mamdani's answers, Trump gets to avoid debating him, which he couldn't handle anyways without firehosing or name calling, which I'm pretty sure Mamdani can handle because it's all he's been doing during the latest smear campaign against him. Trump also gets to brush off his answers like they don't bother him, like they don't challenge him (they do). Which, in his mind puts him in charge of the narrative and it "discredits" the person calling out the fascist, especially in front of said fascist's supporters who think he is a fairly voted in democratic leader getting "called names" by a crackpot socialist.
Trump: "Haha, it's okay that he called me a fascist. We all know what HE is." insert latest dumb lie/accusation
Mamdani: "Okay, it's fine. He can silence me here. But he can't silence me everywhere."
Anyways, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Mamdani for president.
found this on pinterest and i would just like everyone to know that this one image represents my headcanon for future!burkhyde in its entirety.
Jupiter's Moon IO: Jupiter's fifth moon, Io, is the most volcanically active body in the solar system. Io's surface temperature averages about minus 202 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 130 Celsius), resulting in the formation of sulfur dioxide snowfields. But Io's volcanoes can reach 3,000 F (1,649 C). Io is often referred to as a celestial body of fire and ice. (source)
this post was the catalyst for this comic, and i was also thinking of a desi song lyric (tere dil ke sheher mein ghar mera ho gaya / in the city of your heart, my home is made) and just... hmmm.... leaving your mark.... making a house into a home..... when the marks a child inevitably leaves behind (messes, scribbles, and in this case stickers) eventually fade away as they grow older and you're left with the memories stored in what hasn't been erased....
im not verbalizing it very well but catch my drift?
No. Because in the whole last part we see Lizzie pining for Darcy and regretting having misjudged him, and we see her having a big crush on him. We don't see Belly doing that at all in the last part of TSITP. And please, stop comparing Bonrad to Elizabeth & Darcy. Especially Conrad to Mr. Darcy. You're fucking crazy.

anya: i know it's stupid. papa burns really easily too and i forgot to use the suncreen he gave me.
damian, after his confession to anya and acceptance in the forger family: wait a minute-
.
loid, after anya gets a letter from eden academy: i certainly didn't expect this kind of trouble in my life when your mother and i brought you home from the hospital!!!
anya, in her full teenage angst mode: well maybe you shoulda left me there!!!!!!
loid: maybe we should have!
franky, getting uncomfortable: didn't you get her from an orphanage-
so burn your bridges, warrior child, before someone else lights them up so freeze your heart, war-torn child, before someone else leaves it cold so dig your grave, war-born child, before someone else buries you —and if they ask—call it peace ( j.p. )

Conrad's confused expression after Belly theorizes he might only love her because he was told to lives RENT FREE in my head.
should've been an epiphany. because no matter how romantic the last line was, I still believe that's the case. neither of them have *actually* moved on from their six-month relationship five years ago, nor have they let go of susannah's ghost.
Did they watch the show or not after a while ?
Jere provoked this fight impulsively and hoped that Belly would tell him the truth about Christmas. She didn't so he broke up with her because he think if she didn't tell him it's because something happening in her heart for Conrad again. He didn't provoke this fight so he could sleep with another girl. The show explains it very well, but you choose to twist it in order to demonize Jere. Even more bad faith and lies.
And he didn't even come back to her. It was Belly who came back to him. Not Jere. Jere had broken up with Belly and thought it was over. IT'S LITERALLY SHOWN. But no, you still prefer to lie and say he came back to her on his own after doing that. Because yes, if he had done that, it would have been suspicious, except here's the thing... HE DIDN'T !
And I hope that one day, your girlfriend or boyfriend will spend a weekend with their ex without ever telling you, even if he never slept with her, we'll see if you won't see the emotional cheating this time.

every girl will agree that emotional cheating is worse than physical cheating unless another girl is doing it.
How is it manipulative to tell someone to just stop calling you ?
People... Belly & Jeremiah didn't have a normal breakup after a short relationship.
They almost got married and the very day after the annulment she ran off to another country without telling anyone. Let's be honest, before leaving to find herself, Belly mostly ran away in the first place.
Imagine for one second that your ex-fiancé who was your boyfriend for 4 years ran off the day you almost got married to another country leaving you an emotional mess on top of having to deal with all the fallout of such an event alone with both of your families... How exactly would you take that ? Good ?
Please, stop trying to spin the situation to make Jeremiah look like the problem, you're becoming embarrassing.
