Spires: Astonishingly Abstract
Spires aka James Soares is a mobile artist, making most of his art on iOS devices. Originally from Bristol, RI, Spires currently works from his studio in New Bedford, MA. He produces patterns that work as vehicles for color by combining shape, value & texture, his geometric designs juxtapose both structure & randomness, the mechanical with the organic.
