Civilization has slowly been rebuilding itself since the atomic war in 1985, which destroyed most of the Earth’s surface. In the year 2185, a three man crew blasted off in a space ship to explore the universe. They find an asteroid that mimics Earth of the past, but everyone there is frozen. (“Elegy” Twilight Zone, TV)
My pal James Webber just finished this short as part of the 30 Seconds of Sound Visualised project, and I got to help out with some of the character animation. 30 Seconds of Sound is the brainchild of sound designer/composer Simon Pyke (Freefarm) where he challenges video artists and animators to create a thirty second film based on an audio sample with no further guidance.
