“Cast all your anxieties upon him.” Not just the big ones, but also all those little things that you thought God would find insignificant. Allow Him to take care of you. Allow Him to be your Father. But when you ask, don’t waver. Have an expectant heart. Do your part, then let God surprise you. Sleep well and have a good night.

If you ask someone you have never talked to to do you a huge favor, there is only a very small chance that they will do it for you. If you build a positive relationship with a person, talk to them often, and then ask that person to do you the same favor, they will most likely do it gladly. This also applies to God. Please, I do urge you to pray for the world, but please do not only decide to pray when catastrophes occur if you do not believe in prayer any other day of the year. It would be foolish to ask something of a God you weren't sure existed. James 1:6
