Artist @kennedyyanko has two exhibitions of her new works on view simultaneously at @salon94 and @jamescohangallery, and a third exhibition, which she curated, is also at @salon94. 👏🏿💐
🎥✍️🏾 reposted from @cultured_mag With a dual show at James Cohan in Tribeca (“Epithets”) and Salon 94 uptown (“Retro Future”), @kennedyyanko’s work now spans Manhattan from top to bottom.
It’s a career-defining moment that invites viewers to fully experience the raw physicality of her pieces, as well as the singular environments where they’re displayed. For Yanko, these exhibitions are far more than just shows—they’re powerful tributes to her biggest inspirations and an ode to those she continues to inspire today.
Take a look as she walks CULTURED through both shows.
