This one's a lil awkward to make aesthetic . .

Trains can ' t do drugs . You might be thinking , " oh ! James ! If trains cannot do drugs than why are you participating in this ask game ! ? " . . Well , dear individual reading this , let me enlighten you .

When they discovered the type of coal that makes Henry run , now it has a name but I do forget it , the other engines discovered just what they meant when they called it special . Henry ' s special coal burned different to our normal coal , and helped produce more steam . I wonder if you know where I ' m going with this . Thomas , I remember , was a user . I mean most of us had tried it , to test it out , but he " tried it out " quite a lot . So did Henry , but Henry atleast needed it . It was essentially like train weed , at least that's how I remember it , which is ironic as it was essentially used as a medicinal property for Henry .

I don ' t remember much from my use of it , but I remember not liking it very much . I feared my ability to be very useful was at stake , and I could NOT risk being painted blue ! I sure had my priorities straight . Edward refused to try it , too caring to take from Henry , and Gordon decided he was above it .

well , for one . In most memories , at least , I suppose. I have a strange mix of two canons for the same kin , I was a steam train . A red L&YR Class 28, 0 - 6 - 0 mixed - traffic, tender locomotive . But just steam train is simpler . I , currently , am a homo sapien . SO TELL ME WHY . I cannot simply say " I am so hungry ! " like any other person. Infact , instead. I say ." I realky need some more coal , I'm running low . "

I don't need to shower, I need " a wash-down and a repaint before I dull !" . No work ? No-problem ! - " oh good , I get a break from train - pulling ! And I don't have to shunt ? Awesome ! " - It gets worse. Confusion and delay. Really useful engine. Cinders and ashes. Bust my buffers. All phrases that have LEAKED INTO MY VOCABULARY .

Since I am , well , a train . OUTFITS are very difficult to cover . I'm going to take some creative liberty , and talk about my livery and how that changes instead ! I'll cover a mix of canon and non - canon , in no particular order , and note what each means to me :)

CANON !

My black livery ! - I do believe this is canon , when I first arrived to sodor , I was painted black with a red lining and boiler bands ! I also had red lining on my tender , which was removed in my repaint . At this point , I'd never tasted the red I'm well and known for today . I wasn't as confident as I am now , it's like my edgy teenage year outfit , if you will .

My red livery ! - I am most often painted a beautiful scarlet red , with black lining and yellow cab window frames . I have gold boiler bands and a brass dome . My number 5 is painted on my tender in yellow with a black outlining . In my memories , I had a lot more gold detailing than they gave me in the show , but that's alright . My red paint is forever my favourite ! Always and forever .

My pink paint ! - since I have no desire to cover six whole canon outfits . I'll end it with the time I was painted in a pink undercoat before my standard red was applied ! I still had ny lining , number , black wheels and smoke box , though . Despite not enjoying it in the canon , I remember feeling rather quite pretty with my paint pink ! Though the other engines wouldn't agree .

NON - CANON !

First of all , I'd like to talk about my splendid red paint . As I said before , I remember having a lot more cold detailing , including a brighter , gold lining , and often times flowers painted along the bottom of my red coat . I believe they just liked having fun with my paint , and knew I wouldn't mind so much as long as it made ne stand out in the good way . At a few points , I do also remember my lining being black , as well .

Though partially canon , I don't count ut AS a canon livery as it occurred in a dream in the show , so I'd like to talk about the time I was mistakenly painted blue . I believe that around the time I was to be repainted , Edward was too . Edward is blue . They must have mischedueled it or something . I ended up blue , and Edward red . I absolutely despised it . I remember the other engines laughing at me and I just wanted the tracks to open up under me and plummet me into the void . I laugh about it nowadays but it was just as bad as the time my coaches had to be mended by a passengers leather bootlace .

This turned out a lot longer than I expected, sorry mpc !
