Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to state their desire to see Selhurst Park favourite Scott Dann remain at the club, amid reported interest from 19th placed Fulham, according to Bleacher Report’s football insider Dean Jones on Twitter. The Eagles defender has only recently recovered from a serious knee injury sustained in the 0-0 draw against Manchester City at Selhurst Park last season, and has made just two starts in the current campaign in the FA Cup games against Grimsby and Tottenham – he performed excellently in both games, playing 90 minutes and keeping two clean sheets, as per Transfermarkt. However, given his undoubted quality, the 31-year-old perhaps deserves to be starting week in, week out, and he probably would be but for the formidable partnership of Mamadou Sakho and James Tomkins. Which player with “no potential” has just been named Crystal Palace’s worst ever January signing? Find out in the video below… As a result, relegation threatened Fulham are interested in bringing him to Craven Cottage to solve their defensive woes according to Dean Jones, although fans of the Eagles aren’t too up for the idea of seeing such a pivotal figure depart the club, if their reactions on Twitter are anything to go by… Scott Dann to Fulham is possible but more talks needed in next couple of days to figure out terms of any deal. Would be an ideal signing IMO — Dean Jones (@DeanJonesBR) January 28, 2019 Hope not. We shouldn’t be letting any more players leave, especially this close to the end of the window. — Chrissy Palace (@ChrissyPalace) January 28, 2019 I hope the club don't sell Scott Dann to the Happy Clackers. Adds really good depth, especially when JT and Sakho are so injury prone. But then again CPFC need to start bringing in some transfer fees, so it may depend on the fee. I'd be sad to see him go, he's been quality. — typical palace (@typicalpalace) January 27, 2019 Scott Dann to Fulham would be a disaster. — Robbie Scotcher (@RobbieScotcher) January 28, 2019 After his performance yesterday I would be disappointed to see him go. Admittedly, I laughed at someone for suggesting upwards of £10m for Dann but if Fulham are truly desperate I say we force their hand. Learn some of the tricks used on us. https://t.co/VexP9iOEIB — Sam • (@SWPalace) January 28, 2019 Surely letting Dann go would be a massive mistake especially if Sakho goes in the summer.#CPFC — Mark (@EagleMarkCPFC) January 27, 2019 Hope Scotty Dann isn't going to Fulham…thought he was good today — TheOfficialPaulH (@TheOfficialPau1) January 27, 2019 Wouldn’t be a bad idea tbh. Don’t like the idea of selling Dann to Fulham but Cahill can still do a job. Will play the same amount as Dann now anyway. — The Wookie – “Excelsior” (@ImAWookieMan) January 27, 2019 #CrystalPalace #CravenCottage #JamesTomkins
