#TuesdayTribute: I’m sad & at a loss of words. Today on his 41st birthday, my friend, Josh Bloomfield, passed away from stage 3 bile duct cancer. Josh was a talented drummer, vocalist, and an all around great guy and his legacy and his persona will be deeply missed!! For the seven years that I’ve known him, I’m thankful to have called him my friend. My condolences and virtual hugs to his parents, family, girlfriend, his musician/band friends, and community members who knew and loved him at this time. Thank you for everything my friend. #MyMusicMonday: What a truly amazing Sunday afternoon of love, support, and community that the Capital Region music scene was a part of with my friend and musician, Josh Bloomfield, at his event, “Jam For Josh”!! The Hangar On The Hudson was the place for some of the most amazing music I had heard from many of the area’s top performers in a very long time and it was all for Josh, a kind soul who has given back to the community through his kindness and his musical talents. Amazing job to The Hangar On The Hudson, to all of the volunteers, the bands and many special guests, and many others who came together to put this event together and made this event a success for Josh and his family. Josh, continue to be strong, stay positive, and fight through this battle that you are enduring at the moment. You got this and we love you so much!
