#HappyLaborDay: The 203rd Annual Schaghticoke Fair wrapped up today. My annual coverage of the 3rd oldest NYS fair for “The Eastwick Press” was fun! Ate some out-of-this-world ice cream & steak sandwiches, saw some animals, supported the Hill Country Cloggers at their show, watched live entertainment from Soul Sky & Rattail Jimmy, & so much more. Took total advantage of using 1 of my 2 free passes I got Wednesday (Media Day) to return yesterday for some more Fair fun & media coverage. #MondayThrowback: Happy Monday everyone!! How was your Independence Day weekend?!?! I had a fantastic holiday weekend spending genuine quality time with my close friend from high school, Murielle Morris!! We spent the weekend shopping, dining, catching up on life, and yesterday (7/4/2021), she joined me on my holiday festivities: covering the Town of Berlin, NY 4th of July Parade for “The Eastwick Press & saw some fantastic fireworks at the Empire State Plaza!! I’m thankful to have Murielle as my friend and that we were able to enjoy some holiday festivities!! Thank you to “Graham Tichy & The New Lowdown” & “The Power House Funk Band” for your music & to Empire State Plaza for hosting a spectacular fireworks show!! #NationalSelfieDay: Happy “National Selfie Day” everyone!! Figure I throw it back with these two selfies of me here both at home & at the Rustic Barn Pub @rusticbarnpub in Troy,NY with my two musician friends, Johnny Morse @johnnyguitar65 & Peggy Smulsky @peggy_smulsky . The Rustic Barn Pub selfie was taken at last Thursday’s open Mike jam post-Brian Kane show at the Town of Schaghticoke Summer’s Eve Concert Series event!
