Exactly. My parents survived the 1971 genocide, which was carried out by Pakistani army and their local collaborators Jamaat-e-Islami. I can say that I'm utterly let down by the left. I'm amazed at how this global leftist nexus is intertwining with literal islamists who are our oppressors. CAB affects Indian Citizens, regardless of religion, in no way. CAB is meant for persecuted minorities from India's neighboring islamic countries, who are given fast track citizenship. Muslims can still apply for citizenship but they won't get the fast track because India was partitioned because of religion. Why can't people read the bill properly? The lack of historical understanding is astonishing.
