When other shows get a budget you can tell because the sets or costumes and camera quality got better but when the MythBusters got a budget you could tell cause they started just blowing shit up for the fun of it

I loved the Mythbusters when I was little when I was home sick from school I would binge all the episodes and I would always tell my parents about it and explain all the science I learned and tell them about all the cool explosions

One year for Christmas my parents got me VIP tickets to their tour and I got to sit second row and meet them afterwards and take pictures/get them to sign stuff

I brought my Polaroid with me (this was before Polaroids got popular again like 2012 at the latest) and I got to the front of the picture line (the line still went almost the whole length of the room behind me) and I handed my camera to the 20 something girl who worked at the venue to take my picture and she just looks at me at goes I don’t know how to work this so I start explaining it to her and Adam is like DID YOU BRING A POLAROID!!!! And Jamie is like whoa I didn’t know kids still used those and in the back of the line someone screams out SHES A HIPSTER!!! With the same energy of someone screaming she’s a witch.

But then we took the photo and they let me take two cause they thought the camera was so fun and then they came over to sign the Polaroids and they were asking me all these questions about it and I got to tell them all about my Polaroid collection and how they just started making some newer models under Fuji film and how they’re gonna make a real come back and they were both so nice and excited and like hanging on my every word it was SUCH a great experience

Ive been on a bit of a mythbusters kick and ive been watching the episode where adam and jamie disguise themselves as the other one and it's so fucking funny words cannot describe how funny it is to see jamie calmly just talking to the camera while his doppelganger in the background is fucking busting a move
