Jammu MSMEs are verge of closure due to cash crunch because huge amount of money stuck with various govt depts. BBIA held a meeting of its members to discuss the acute financial crisis being faced by the local MSE units due to non-release of payment amounting to crores of rupees by the various government departments which procured materials from them on the basis of valid purchase orders.
MSMEs in Jammu have strongly criticised the State Provident Fund Department for denying PF statements to the workers, private organisations/Industrial units for the last many years.
The Industries & Commerce Department of Jammu & Kashmir has ordered initiation of the process of de-registration of the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) units who have closed down their manufacturing process or after issuance of EM Part-II.
