Pending Payments
A black haired enters the scene, a big hall with yellow lights and candles, very refined to be such a big house. He looks at the youngster who was waiting there, he smiles. The lack of good light sources isn't reasonable, but the full moon is seen through the open windows.
Akai— You must be the guy my father was talking about... You're a bounty hunter, right? My name is Akai Haneda, pleasure to meet you. —He spoke, while walking towards the after mentioned boy. Akai was slightly taller than him, and it was clear he was some sort of demon.— Very well, I have an important mission for you.
The red eyed took out a picture of a very serious man, with grey-ish blue hair and purple eyes, and handed it to the hunter.
Akai— This sir right here owes me a big sum of money, and I want you to retrieve it... He's a mortician that lives on the city... And also he's a human, so if he doesn't respond for his debts feel free to teach him a lesson. —Akai smiled mischievously, as the inmature adult he was. He provided Mystic with the adress and all he needed to find this man, for some reason, he even provided a key to the man's office, "just in case".
— Anything he gives to you bring it to me, and we'll decide what to do with it then...
It was not often a client would come face to face with him for a job, let alone come with all the information at hand. Mystic crossed his arms and sided his hips with a raised brow. He had come across ande ven worked on incredibly shady jobs, but he never questioned it in the past. Though, once he looked over the image his said target, something felt incredibly off. He actually thought there was something familiar about this man.
“A debt, huh?” Mystic mumbled. “Then you have got the correct guy for the job. Though I must say that it is not everyday that someone comes directly to the bounty hunter. My boss is much more better at taking your orders.”
The Founder twirled the key he’d been given by the taller man between his knuckles, looking up at him with a rather untrusting expression. He folded the picture of the target and swiftly tucked it into the inside of his jacket, before flipping the key and leisurely pointing at the man.
“I do wonder, though,” Mystic started, “if you have everything that you need for me to reach this man, why have you come to me to fix your little issue? You could clearly be able to finish off the job and gather the money on your own, after all.”
After a moment of silence, the deadpan expression on the demon’s face slipped away into a vague smile. He tilted his head and sighed, “I suppose it does mean I get some money outta this. I suppose whatever problem you have with him is really mine to mind.”
