I found this really pretty tapestry at the thrift store and was thinking of turning the fabric into a vest but thought "hmm the design kind of resembles a prayer mat"

If it was it would definitely feel very wrong to cut it up and i might donate it back. But the thin fabric and embroidery also don't look like any I've seen before.
