so we really are getting a jancy style team up of Mike and Will in season 5 where they protect Holly
I used to have a lot of byler doubt but now it basically doesn’t exist because look how many scenes they are sharing together!! It makes no sense from a narrative point of view to pair them together on their own so often if Will is going to get another love interest or Mike is going to stick it out for with El (which is a very unhealthy relationship now).
Remember how many scenes Max and Lucas had in season 2 in order to develop their relationship?If Mike and El were going to stay together then they would need a lot of scenes together to develop the relationship, but they don’t. You know who do? Mike and Will!!! Their relationship is going to grow and it’s impossible really for them to simply just grow platonically closer.
