Hey Linnea! I assume your love of CE forced you to watch Thor 2. You had brought up a discussion a while ago about Loki's reaction to Jane's punch in the trailer; what did you end up thinking of it in the context of the movie? - LasciviousGrace
I felt about the same as I did after seeing it in the trailer - that it frames a woman’s anger as cute and sexy and not something to be taken seriously. I never did watch the second half of The Avengers, so I don’t know what it was that happened in New York that she was angry about, but I don’t think that would change my opinion. I definitely took his “I like her” comment as flirtatious, not as admiring of her bravery.
