A bunch of people kept asking me if I was Jane XO from TikTok. Never heard or that person but apparently there’s a music artist JaneXO and her artist logo does look like me when I had purple hair but I’ve never seen/heard of her until this dream.

Kaskade is one of my absolute favorite artists. His music is ethereal in a way that provides an escape from this crazy world we live in.

This holiday season Kaskade has given us all a wonderful gift, by releasing a Christmas album -- and it’s amazing. A Kaskade holiday album was something I didn’t even know I was missing until hearing it!

“I have always loved Christmas music. It was inspiring to have the challenge of taking music that I have grown up with and producing it in a way that is new and modern. The mood of the season is about imagination, hope and love. It is for everyone, regardless of what you believe.” - Kaskade

‘Christmas is Here’ kicks off the album on a great start, then it goes into some familiar holiday tunes, then into some religious tracks. I grew up Catholic, and I always loved the songs we sang at Christmas, so it is so cool to see them transformed into these awesome EDM tracks for a new generation. If I was the Pope I’d work those tracks into the Christmas Day mass as a way to modernize the Church.

You might recognize some of the voices on the album from other Kaskade tracks. Skylar Gray (’O Come Emmanuel’) was featured on ‘Room for Happiness’ and Ilsey (’Silent Night’) was featured on ‘Disarm You’.

My only complaint with the album is that I wish the tracks were blended to flow from one to the next. They feel a little short to me and end abruptly, but my thought is maybe the album wasn’t made to be one long track, but individual ones. Either way, the album is great and deserves a download and listen.
