I'm trying not to cry as I write you this, but I wanted to tell you that I saw that ask that the anon said about Loki, and it made me feel sad, mostly because I love Loki so much, and I hate all that he's been through, and all I've ever wanted for him, was to know that he's enough.

I love him so much, he wasn't aiming to get brain washed, and I don't want to list all the things that he's done that I don't agree with, because I know that they weren't his choice, so I will say this I don't agree with everything that's been done to him. I just wanted to tell you this, hope it's okay me saying this.

Don't be sad over trolls and antis, dear @janedoe876 ! That's what they want. They want to anger and upset us but in doing so they just show how they lack basic reading comprehension or critical thinking skills.

We love Loki and relate to him and want him to be happy and we have every right to analyze what he went through without requiring to list every single thing he did wrong all the time.

Lol I wouldn’t go quite that far. When he himself is hurting inside... yeah I mean he kinda does mean to hurt Thor. He wants to hurt Thor. He wants to piss Thor off so Thor will fight him instead of trying to plead with him, because he’s afraid he’s going to give in (how much has he, secretly, been dreaming of having Thor begging him to come back, of Thor actually wanting him back? He asked Thor if he mourned---some long night in the void Loki found himself imagining that, Thor grieving him, and he wasn’t sure he believed it, and the thought itched in his head, and then whatever manipulations from Thanos’ crew amplifying his worst fears and beliefs about what happened, and now he’s faced with the real Thor again and all those old feelings are rushing back and---) and he can’t give in; he’s too angry for that, not to mention the bigger bad he’s got breathing down his neck to keep going. He wants to hurt Thor in vengeance, and so Thor will understand the betrayal he feels, and to push Thor away before he does something he’ll regret like actually saying yes. He’s sure that if he says yes, it’ll mean going back to the way things were before, without anything actually getting addressed, and he can’t bear the thought of that. Being dragged home in chains, if that’s where this goes, is better than that. At least there will be no denying that everything is different now. 

So, yes, I think he does want to hurt Thor in that scene.

It’s just that none of that is the same as trying to kill Thor, out of malice or for funsies. He’s not “betraying Thor on a whim,” nor is he just being Evil For No Reason.   

Loki does truly love Thor, and he wants to fight Thor and have the upper hand in that fight so he can feel like he’s in control of himself, and hurting Thor (emotionally, and by stabbing him in a non-vulnerable spot with the Loki equivalent of a safety pin) is the most efficient way to do that.

Hello, imposter Loki's are hounding me and no matter what I do they don't seem to want to leave me, they tell me dark things and I want them gone. Do I need to cast some sort of very powerful banishing spell?

I wouldn’t say a powerful spell is gone unless they’re causing you some serious grief. That said, here are some of the more simple things I do to ward against malicious spirits:

Ask my deities to protect/chase them off. Thor is especially good at this.

Ward my working areas with sigils designed to keep harmful entities away.

Put iron (potentially in the shape of defensive runes) over entrance-ways to your house and work-space. Or vinegar does the trick, too.

Cleanse your space in a culturally appropriate manner, eg. burning herbs.

Hello, I also work with Loki and was wondering what is it like for you? What are some of the things you have benefited from working with him?

Aaah I love this question!

So my relationship with Loki is built on...mutual entertainment for each other, is how I’d put it. I usually describe it as an “Artist / Muse” kind of relationship but with platonic love and a deep fondness for each other.

Our relationship looks this way because Loki, being the sneakiest of all shits, disguised himself as an OC of mine for a few years before telling me who he was. Our relationship looks the same as before except nowadays I’m a hard polytheist and Loki acts as my patron deity.

A personal epithet I use for Loki is the “Mad Muse” because he gives me what I consider to be life’s greatest gift: Inspiration. His antics make me laugh and inspire my art...but more than that, he inspires me to buck the status quo, live authentically, and follow my dreams regardless of judgement. I’ve achieved some of those dreams because of him and continue to do so because of him. Growing into myself as a person is probably the biggest benefit I get working with him.

So that being said, I would absolutely go to the ends of the Earth for this ratbastard.
