wrt vaccines: i can tell you right now for sure that the only members of the doom patrol that are MAYBE vaccinated are joshua clay, lucius reynolds, casey brinke, and jane morris. and jane is actually probably not vaccinated bc she hates doctors. cliff is a robot he can’t be vaccinated. larry would irradiate anyone who tried to vaccinate him to death. rita’s skin would just sort of indent. and chief thinks vaccines cause both autism and being gay.

dorothy is also vaccinated but that’s because joshua and cliff took her and posed as her adopted dads. the attending nurse was like “um.... i’m sorry, are you really her father?” because cliff is a robot and cliff was like “why? two men can’t be fathers together? is that what you’re saying?” and the nurse was so uncomfortable she just let them do whatever. cliff still thinks he’s straight though.

flex is also vaccinated but it’s just for publicity so kids will see him and want to be vaccinated also. he is physically incapable of becoming sick

and lastly kipling has been sick with consumption since the 1800s but the fucker refuses to die

this is all literally perfect and spot-on. i love the mental image of josh and cliff taking dorothy to the doctor as her dads because they Are. josh/cliff warriors rise up we have nothing to lose but the respect of our doom patrol peers

A visit to Kelmscott Manor, William Morris's Cotswold sanctuary, now under the aegis of The Society of Antiquaries, before it closes for lengthy restoration work. A beautiful house: simple, airy, bright, with Morris's tapestries, books from his Kelmscott Press, paintings by Dante Gabriel Rossetti and Philip Webb furniture adding to an atmosphere of almost monastic reverence for the ideals of art, beauty and medieval chivalry (though Morris was to find the obstacles and entanglements of modern life rather more complicated and, at times, troublesome).
