life came at you fast and jane was no exception to that. a panic attack had hit jane like a truck and she was trying her best to calm down but it was proving fruitless, that was how mulan found her. crouch down in the back of the bookstore, she had tried her best to hide.

she focus on trying to even her breathing, mulan staying by her side for support and reassuring her that she wasn't leaving. jane gave a nod of her head and took some more deep breaths. @magicalfamulan

jane had been feeling under the weather as of late. maybe it was burnout from work or maybe it was all the stress over the past few months that was finally taking it's toll. either way, she was exhausted and the cold she was trying to get rid of was refusing to move. thankfully, she had great friends around her, one of which was nani who had kindly brought reinforcements in the form of tea and medication "you're an angel, nani. thank you, i really appreciate you bringing these over for me" jane continued to thank her, lifting the mug of tea to her lips. @themanagerisavampirex

she was minding her business at the store when someone had clearly decided to take their bad day out on her. one minute she was waiting in line to pay for her items and the next she was being screamed at by a man who had decided he was important enough to skip in front of her. she was stunned into silence while this man ranted away and it wasn't until honeymaren stepped in that jane felt herself return to her body.

apparently that was enough for the security to finally act and come over to haul the man away. jane turned to honeymaren "thank you for being there. i don't think anyone would've done anything otherwise. i can't believe that just happened" @honeymxren

no, jane isn't petty at all. there's not a petty bone in her body. she's much more likely to tell you what the issue is and talk it out to resolve. retaliation isn't her thing. she's too kind for her own good.
