Leontine Linens founder Jane Scott Hodges debuted her book Linens: For Every Room and Occasion last April in her hometown of New Orleans with a successful launch party in her Magazine Street showroom. She then set out on a whirlwind of a road trip to promote her stunning book.
Launching a book is no small feat, so I circled back with her on her one year anniversary of Linens for the inside scoop on her travel. She indulged by sharing photos and memories. “From New York to San Francisco and everywhere in between, the tour was a grand success. From dinners with friends and mentors, to events at my favorite shops and collaborating with several brands along the way, including Christofle in NYC and Neiman Marcus throughout the south. It was also such an honor to speak at several events nationally, including the Boston Design Center and the Nashville Antiques and Garden Show. This past year has truly been an amazing journey. And so much more in store for the next year,” remarks Hodges.
That lingering note keeps me wondering, what’s next? Seeing this beloved local business Live on The Plaza and making the Christmas list was certainly enough to win me over, but I was sold a long time ago when I received #myfirstleontine.
