There's no such thing as "normal". It doesn't exist. Instead, there's a process called normalisation, which spans from crossing the road at pedestrian crossings to eliminating entire races in order to create an ideal society. Normalisation is simply a manipulation of fact and behaviour, as are education institutions, and the patriarchy.
