Futuristically born on this day, May 20, 2336, Kathryn Janeway, Captain of the USS Voyager exceptionally played by Kate Mulgrew in Star Trek: Voyager (1995-2001). I thought it fitting for the 60th Anniversary of the Star Trek franchise to make a video completion of the seven years Captain Janeway courageously helmed the USS Voyager on her journey home. Through battles and hardships, love and loss, mistakes and tactically outstanding action, Kathryn Janeway made her name across the stars, and in many peoples hearts as the best Captain in Star Trek history ✨

The first time I heard "Andromeda" by Weyes Blood and the lyrics "Running from my own life now / I'm really turning some time / Looking up to the sky for something I may never find...." I immediately thought of Janeway and decided at long last to edit a tribute to her timeless legacy ✨

She taught us the right way, the wrong way....and The Janeway ✨
