❛ physiologically , it bears a striking similarity to disease. a series of biochemical responses that trigger an emotional cascade impairing normal functioning. ❜ with a frustrated sigh does she explain herself. the feelings swirling through her head and chest are so difficult to explain. like there is something akin to insects trapped in her stomach , fluttering and flapping away as they try to escape up her throat.
punctuated with a sigh , stiff posture kept despite the privacy they share within the captain’s quarters. seven struggles to explain how she feels in any way that is not stiff and emotionless. breaking it down into chemical responses and the synapses firing in the brain. the most important thing : and she explains as such : is that she wants to explore these feelings. reading can only prepare the former borg so much , to actually know what love is , she must live through it. and there is only one she wishes to do that with.
