She was shown to the breakfast parlour, where her appearance created a great deal of surprise. But she could barely smile. Not because she was breathing an air of arrogant stardom — She was a far cry from that. However, she was dealing with an emotion of rage. And Alyssa was someone who could never conceal her expression and feelings.
An early appointment was initially set up for her to meet up with a client and to clinch a sponsorship deal. An hour passed by and still, there was no sign of the said person. Alyssa was indefinitely furious of such irresponsible act.
So there she was alone in the restaurant, seated at the corner she specially requested for. Her only attempt to avoid curious stares who might spoke behind her back. This is after all, a lavish restaurant where one was expected to be dining in with a partner or in groups.
Shrugging her early morning trouble away, she had her sight focused attentively on her phone, in between her breakfast eating . A foolproof plan to hide the fact she was very much uncomfortable. Because she couldn’t be staring at her phone and doing nothing, Alyssa sent out a couple of texts to her friends, hoping they are fully awake so they could assist in curing her loneliness. But when none of them replied, she decided to try her luck with Christian Wang, who she has managed to hit it off well with after a series of chats via the internet before moving on to both having each other’s numbers. But completed with numerous failed attempts to meet up.
Though if he’s back in Hongkong, he would be an hour behind her. Occupied with her new accommodation and moving in, she has only began to realize she hasn't even reply to his previous message.

I’m so sorry for this late reply,
moving in to a new apartment was so tiring
that I barely had any time but its all settled now,
so, what have you been up to lately? anything fun?
