Bohemian Reformation
The Bohemian Reformation (c. 1380 to c. 1436) was the first concerted effort by Catholic clergy to reform the abuses and corruption of the medieval Church. Bohemian clerics and theologians called for reform and, like later advocates, initially had no intention of breaking with the Church until the martyrdom of Jan Hus in 1415.

Jan Hus
Jan Hus (also John Huss, l. c. 1369-1415) was a Czech philosopher, priest, and theologian who, inspired by the work of John Wycliffe (l. 1330-1384) challenged the policies and practices of the medieval Church and so launched the Bohemian Reformation. When he refused to recant his views, he was arrested and burned at the stake in 1415.

Los clérigos y teólogos bohemios hicieron una llamada a la reforma pero, al igual que sus posteriores defensores, sin intención de romper con la Iglesia, hasta el martirio de Jan Hus, en 1415.

Jan Hus
Jan Hus (également Jean Huss, l. c. 1369-1415) était un philosophe, prêtre et théologien tchèque qui, inspiré par les travaux de John Wyclif (l. 1330-1384), remit en question les politiques et les pratiques de l'Église médiévale et lança ainsi la Réforme de Bohême. Refusant d'abjurer ses opinions, il fut arrêté et brûlé sur le bûcher en 1415.
