Genuine question from someone who hasn’t read Ms. Marvel comics - I see a lot of people upset that Kamala doesn’t have the same stretchy powers that she has in the comics and how it’s very important to her character.

But in the first episode she does have stretchy powers, just not how it looks in the comics, it looks more like that cosmic vibe they’re going for. I’m just struggling to figure out how it’s very different from Sam Raimi making Peter’s webs come from inside his wrist instead of a web shooter, same powers just a different way of showing them? Like I’m assuming it’s the lack of comic knowledge that’s making this not click lmaoo but I just don’t get it and would love to know
