Şimdi canım, janr denen bir şey var.
Türü psikolojik gerilim olan bir filmden bahsederken "...geçen gün bi korku filmi, aslında psikolojik gerilim..." kalıbının kullanılması bizde âdettendir. Çünkü filmi izlerken aslında gerilmişizdir ama öte yandan kompile bir millet olarak halihazırda gerilimli bir memlekette yaşayıp gerilim eşiğimizi epey yükselttiğimizden, filmin içindeki birkaç korku sahnesi tüm yaşanan gerginliğe göre daha akılda kalıcı olur. Bu da haliyle dile yansır. On the other hand, ben Melancholia filmini gülerek izleyen insan gördüm arkadaş! O gün dedim ki kendi kendime:
"Demek ki filmin janrı ve ne anlatmak istediği değil önemli olan; izleyenin ne anlamak istediği"
Zaten janr demek de zor, boş verin hepsi aynı.
