Necroz of Xerneas: Unless Xerneas and Gaialeo have been leaving seedlings of the Tree around Laurana as a contingency plan, I haven’t heard of another Tree of Life.

I’m not even sure how that would work, as the Tree regulates the system of reincarnation. I think. I would have to ask Gaialeo to be sure, but it’s a fairly important tree, I doubt there’s multiples.

Necroz of Articuno: Forgive me if such a revelation appalls you, but it is the truth. I know those of his ilk are known to prey on those of your kind, but understand that Necroz is a whole being, lending parts of himself to the summoners so that they may destroy the corruption of the Shaad.

Necroz of Articuno: We’re under no force to help the summoners, but as we have a stake in this war for mortality against the Shaad, the Ritual compels us to their call and we lend our aid. I understand you say such things with due respect, but it did come off as a bit hostile.

The Shaad are a blight too powerful to be destroyed yet, as we’ve found no reliable means of doing so. It’s why the summoners and their allied clans are trying to find the source of the Shaad: to see if they can be stopped from there, while trying to manage the infection and fight off the infected. It’s quite the task.

Necroz of Articuno: At any rate, you seem harmless enough according to my divinations. To answer your questions, I am based on Jansa, a priestess of the Necroz. As for what happens to a summoner’s consciousness while possessed, it’s a bit complex.

They’re in a sort of state similar to astral projection, but to a much more localized area, specifically to their own body, which is why only I can see Jansa’s consciousness right now and communicate with her. Lugia doesn’t quite understand the intricacies of the mind quite as well as the other Necroz, so they may have given a less accurate explanation of what happens to a summoner’s mind.

Ironic, since they’re a Psychic-type.

Necroz of Articuno: Although, previously they only had Fusion and Mega Evolution, the other clans lent them their readily available techniques and practices, as they’re the last line of defense for the Tree of Life. The Tree’s protection is our greatest priority.

There’s five clans in total, including the Necroz. A clan being defined by their prominent type of evolution. For the Necroz, we have Necroz Summoning. As you can already see, it grants one the aspects and powers of a particular Legendary Pokemon.

Other clans, like the Gaalus, lords of the skies, use Synchro Evolution. Using a Tuner Pokemon, it allows one to evolve into more powerful forms, sometimes different Pokemon entirely!

The Stellora, the clan of the constellations, utilize Stellar Connection. They haven’t exactly been forthcoming with the exact process with us due to our previous rivalry, but I would guess it has something to do with the stars.

The Lavai, the warlords of fire, have Blast Evolution. Not unlike Mega Evolution, but involves rapidly changing forms to adapt to any situation.

The Arboa, protectors of the Tree of Life, however, use the techniques of all the others, making use of Synchro, Stellar, Blast, even Fusion and Mega Evolution.

Necroz of Articuno: Problem is, we’ve no means of reliably destroying them, and whenever they kill someone in battle, the victim becomes a Shaad as well. Our current objective as an alliance is to find the source of the Shaad and destroy them before the Shaad reach the Tree of Life, which is being protected staunchly by the Arboa. We don’t know what the Shaad want with the Tree of Life, but all of us know nothing good would come of it.
