Amazing late-night sundaes in Sapporo! #JAPANAGOS
Today, I want to share with you guys the Japanese food culture of "shime." When we go out to dinner with friends/co-workers/etc and it ends up being a long night of drinking or singing at karaoke, we'll often go out for a second meal / late night snack to finish off the night. Kind of like going to a diner or getting a hot dog after clubbing/drinking. It's usually a noodle/rice dish, but in Sapporo people like to finish off their night with a delicious sundae! and I've got no problem with that! lol
I was recently reading about the usage of kon’nichiwa and konbanwa and found out that you don’t use them with friends, family, or people in your in-group (colleagues, for example). You’re supposed to use these with people you don’t know or people outside of your group.
I have a friend who uses やっほ~!I think it’s such a cute word. It suits her bubbly personality.
Catch your dinner!!
Hello little fishes !!
Oh, I'm sorry, are not you a fish? That's good .... Because today we'll talk about sushi...or rather of how to catch your sushi
ok ok...first!! As an introduction let's talk a bit about a restaurant that is a bit famous in Japan, called ざ う お Zauo where you can fish your own dinner !!! Does not that sound exciting ?!
I will leave a promotional video of the restaurant...
Well returning to the always chika blogger dear go to this great restaurant, and tells us that it is only 10 minutes walk from the south exit of the JR Shinjuku Station. woooo, it's only 10 minutes ....
The anecdote that brings us on this occasion is very funny ... since it was trying to catch something for two hours, of course I only achieved that it was a small shark and the sharks are pets of the restaurant so he could not make his dinner, so the restaurant gave them the price of food as if they had caught a fish .. From what I saw fishing is a job that requires a lot of experience, now imagine doing it with a lot of hunger !!
Is not it too much to say that the restaurant is shaped like a boat and that around them are the fish ?? it's a little difficult to explain
That's all for today's entry, I leave the video for chika as always and read in the next post !! until next time!
Review: Japanagos (How to say I'm home! in Japanese)
The vlogger is teaching us a few sentences and welcomes when you arrive to a house.
The first word she describe for us is tadaima, she teach us that “tadaima” its a word that you use when you arrive to your own house. She said that tadaima is also a word that is used in other sentence because it also means “right know” so she explains that it can be a little difficult to understand if you dont know japanese.
She explains that after you here tadaima in a house you must answer “okaeri nasai” these means welcome back. These is really interesting for me because they are so polite.
After that she apologize to the suscribers because of the inactivity of the channel. She used the word iiwake that means excuses to explain why she was absent. The main reason why she didnt uplad video is because her “obaachan” or in english grand mother, broke her hip so she helped her a few days sou she was really busy.
to end these review i think she is really cute and i feel really exited to learn a few words in japanese, that may be used full in a future. i really hope she returns to youtube really soon
