Cafe: Tadaima
Location: Mission District, San Francisco
Ratings:
1. Chicken Curry Onigri: 5/10
2. Shitake Mushroom & Pickle Onigiri: 7/10
3. Potato & Egg Salad Sando:
- Bread: 5/10 (too dense for me)
- Filling: 6/10
4. Mixed Fruit & Cream Sando:
- Bread: 5/10
- Filling: 3/10 (The cream tastes kinda weird to me. Too sweet and dense, and doesn’t mix well with the fruits.)
In a parallel universe, Severus and Lily opened their own bakery 🥨 My daughter got me hooked on the game app "Tadaima," where you can design a character, decorate your home, collect stuffed animals, visit each other, and take photos together. I made my character look like Severus, and I asked my daughter's character to dress up as Lily 💕
Anime of the day: Tadaima, Okaeri
Released: 2024
How rare is an omegaverse anime! It is overwhelmingly wholesome. Masaki, Hiromi and Hikari are a family, and this is the story about their life and community.
Japanese media findings #1 - Tadaima. by Akiko Yano (album)
I found this album while browsing subgenres of shibuya-kei and somehow stumbled upon the genre of techno kayou. I've never heard of it before until listening to this album and it seems to be thanks to the fact that it's practically a dead genre.
Techno kayou is a subgenre of kayoukyoku (showa era pop music) as well as idol kayou, which is basically the predecessor to J-pop.
Giving this album a listen filled me with inspiration as well as a feeling of melancholy. A reminder that this already small genre pretty much doesn't exist anymore and this, if not preserved, would go under eventually.
So I just wanted to spread the word of my finding and recommend/introduce this wonderfully surreal and upbeat album to at least a few of you people on here.
got my crap back btw 👌
(tho looks like I've already shared the best ones and the rest seems to be kinda plainer but I'm gonna post them anyway, at least some)
