Meditation
The water flows.
The leaves flutter, bidding their trusted branches goodbye so they can explore the world.
No one is standing still, except for me.
While the water and leaves have their adventures, I observe. Others might think this boring, but for me, this is a little moment of eternity. By capturing this minute, this hour, my mind can explore the universe. By standing still, I start to discover who I really am.
Suddenly, a loud sound. My body is faster than my mind, my wings moving me to safety, high up in the air. Maybe I’m not ready for eternity, either.

We’re celebrating the 390th edition of Paranatellonta! This story was written by Fie, and the photo that inspired it was taken by Minerva. Next time we’re back to our usual roles. Thank you for reading!
