And tbh more people should think "if he saw this how would he feel?" cause some of y'all are FREAKS (lovingly..? Ish...?)
so this kinda argument is a double edged sword because not only would he be flabbergasted by the gossip and interests and posts, he would most likely also have some opinions about who is involved 👀 and besides the neighbors who posted a video about him, there have also been a couple of people in my inbox who have alluded to connections to him irl.
there have been previous asks about "this kind of speculation is exactly why he won't come back" and tbh I don't want him online 😂 I don't think he needs to be online. I don't think it serves any purpose for him and is probably better for people to be weird about him in private enclaves than to be weird in his actual comments. some people think maybe if he had a tightly controlled social media then the breadcrumbs would be enough but he's not interested in giving breadcrumbs and doesn't owe anyone any. and i'm sure he already knows from his limited previous experience online that any amount of fame begets curiosity so while I personally do my best to remember and remind everyone else that the speculation is just that, I also want to try not to demonize people for speculating.
