In retrospect, Lance's one-sided animosity towards Keith becomes understandable when you consider the outside pressures involved. Keith not acknowledging Lance compounds to that; Lance didn't really dislike Keith for rivalry's sake, even if he pretended otherwise -- he disliked Keith because Keith made him feel small.

It is interesting that... Lance is the one to say this, given how he's typecast 'resident goofball'. And what's interesting about *that* is that Lance is also rarely *trying* to be funny. He just overcompensates for his insecurity with his dramaticism.

Odd, because Krolia ought to have gotten back in contact with the Blades years ago. This is not new knowledge to them -- shouldn't they have sent someone to guard it in her place? Unless Krolia got... stuck?

In retrospect, this was crazy. The BOM prides itself on its secrecy and caution; on no account does it sacrifice its inside informants for a leap of faith. Then again, Kolivan did characterise Ulaz as reckless.

Allura's awkwardness in the early episodes makes it so obvious she was a lonely child. She acts with nothing but good intentions, but -- courtesy of her (past) status -- misreads some very basic cues.
