This iconic chronograph has been worn bei Jaques Cousteau and his Crew on the legendary Calypso for nearly over one decade, documented by lots of original photomaterial from that timeperiod. This mint condition Deepstar has never been polished before, The fume-grey dial with „big-eye-subdial“ and propeller-secondhand still appears with the original lume on it, attended by the original handset with colourmatching lume. Crown is signed „Aquastar“, authentic decompressionbezel. Comes on a vintage NSA steel-bracelet. The Valjoux 23 handwinding movement of this collectors-grail has been tested by our watchmaker and runs absolutely exact.

This piece here is cobranded by Lorenz for the Spanish market and authentic in every single part. Dial and hands appear with original lume and an overwhelming patina to fall in love with, the subdial is absolutely flawless and cleanwhite. Crown and also the Valjoux 23 movementbridge are Aquastar signed like it should be. The case is unpolished as well as the caseback is. You can clearly read it´s serial and also the 23 for the movement under the serialnumber. It has recently been serviced by Belgium watchguru Abel C. and like we are used to when watches come back from him, it is even waterresistant up to 2 bar. This watch will come on an original vintage sporttropic band
