!!!! and david drives jared to his hotel (jared plans on staying only for a month or so and then returning to california, but ofc hes going to decide to stay there permanently) and dinesh is fast asleep in the passengers seat so david doesnt wake him. and the perfect gentleman he is, david helps jared carry his luggage to his room and its very good bc jareds like "oh youre so good to dineshs friends" and david says "well you're my friend too" and after he leaves jared is too excited to sleep

Yeah he just smiles the biggest dorkiest grin and sits on the bed thinking about that moment like “he said i’m his friend!!!”

Jared arriving at the airport in Dublin and Dinesh and David are there to pick him up.... and it’s not really romantic bc none of them are even thinking about that possibility, but Jared’s just so happy to be far away from Richard and have two awesome people who want to spend time with him

It’s probably an ungodly hour of the morning and Dinesh and David had to get up really early to pick him up so David’s driving and Dinesh is dozing in the passenger seat and David lets him sleep until he sees Jared coming out of the terminal, stretching and yawning and rubbing his eyes. 

David wakes Dinesh and Dinesh gets out of the car and goes to greet Jared and help him with his bags and Jared hugs him so tightly cause he’s just excited to see his friend again!!! and Dinesh is like “i missed you too you big dork now come on David’s not supposed to be parked where he is and the last thing we need is a lecture from the Irish airport police.”

Jared says something about how he could listen to these accents forever and Dinesh or David says “well, it’s a good thing you’re going to be here a while!” 

Jared and Dinesh both want to talk and catch up in the car but they both keep yawning and eventually Jared dozes off in the backseat cause he barely slept on the plane and Dinesh keeps turning around to look at him cause he looks so calm and happy and peaceful and Dinesh has never seen Jared this peaceful.

what are your thoughts on high school jardavesh? I could see david befriending either jared or dinesh first, and the other one ofc starts worrying they're going to start dating bc who wouldnt want to date david....

I love the thing we talked about in the groupchat a while ago where David is the Hot Jock whom Dinesh is tutoring...and David DEFINITELY likes Dinesh so he asks Dinesh on a date and Dinesh goes with him and Jared is a little bit upset because of his huge crush on Dinesh...

but on the date Dinesh is like “okay yeah I like you but I ALSO like Jared and I’ve known Jared a really long time and I don’t want him to feel abandoned...” and they all sit down and talk together and David ends up dating both of them and it’s GOOD.

what are your thoughts on david entering the jarnesh relationship in the gaggle AU??

HMMM okay so everything up until the scene between Richard and Gavin where the K-hole users defeat Gavin’s 51% attack stays the same, so Jared and Dinesh meet David the same way they did in canon...

I think Dinesh starts kinda of hanging out with David after he and Jared leave Pied Piper, and maybe unofficially dating him? and then when Dinesh and Jared kiss Dinesh realizes he likes BOTH Jared and David and is very distressed and has to take to his bed for like a day to figure things out (by which I mean lie around in a blanket nest reading polyamory advice blogs and occasionally pausing for a wank)

anyway after that day of soul- and internet-searching he sits Jared and David down and talks to them about it and Jared says “I’m in if everyone else is” and David shrugs and says “I have no problem with this, Jared seems like a great guy, let’s give it a shot” and uh...it’s good!!

5 headcanons for life guard david, swim team jared and devoted boyfriend dinesh?

1. OK so I see this as a high school AU - David’s a sort-of-cool guy who spends his summers lifeguarding at the local pool, Jared’s on the town swim team, and Dinesh would rather be sitting in his room with a book but he loves his boyfriend and also will never pass up the opportunity to ogle the hot lifeguard.

2. They all sort of vaguely know each other from school and probably have a couple classes together but neither Jared nor Dinesh actually realized how ABSOLUTELY SHREDDED David was.

3. Dinesh and Jared develop their crushes separately and are both really awkward around each other for a while but then at some point Jared blurts out that he thinks David is really hot and Dinesh is like “oh god SAME ME TOO WHAT DO WE DO”

4. When they all get over themselves and ask David if he wants to join them in their relationship and he agrees they realize he only looks like a jock and is actually a total nerd like them (I really want him to have Strong Opinions about which iteration of Star Trek is the best lmao...or which regeneration of the Doctor is the best...)

5. Jared’s friends are all jealous because he has some kind of magical cute boy magnetism like first Dinesh with his perfect face and perfect eyebrows and now Hot Lifeguard David...it’s just unfair...

dinesh noticing jared at the resort when he's sad about richard, and convincing him to come hang out with him and david?? like maybe jareds room is across from dinesh and davids and theyve bumped into each other a few times. And jareds not enjoying himself because he knows richard is there, so he decides to leave early. and dinesh sees him with his bags and basically hes like "no youre not leaving we're gonna stick it to your ex, come hang out with me and my beautiful boyfriend"

Jared’s got his one tiny bag and he’s heading to check out and Dinesh bumps into him and is like “no if you leave your shitty garbage ex wins, you should stay and hang out with us! plus they probably won’t refund you for the rest of the stay anyway so might as well make the most of it!”

And for the next 3 days David and Dinesh just pamper the shit out of Jared and it’s GOOD.
