well honestly i’d say the definition is subjective if anything. as a psychotic person who frequently tunes out reality to cope (and often just for fun at this point) comfort characters figure prominently in my delusions and/or maladaptive daydreaming to the point where i have trouble grasping that other people also know about and have personal relationships with the character. so
(continued) depending on a lot of things, seeing content for them on my dash can evoke anything from happiness to jealousy or anxiety, especially if it relies a lot on the op’s personal interpretation… the character themself definitely makes me Happy, but fanwork or meta from other people isn’t guaranteed to have the same effect. it’s a pretty possessive sort of thing i’d say
Fair enough
CCs did seem to be a subjective thing. And I definitely get what you’re saying about the feelings they can cause depending,, that makes a lot of sense with me tbh. thanks for your input!
heeey hi thanks for the follow! :o i've been seeing your blog everywhere in discourse and fandom circles alike but i remember reading something in your byf about being uncomfortable with people who like jasper? (as an abuse survivor i'm entitled to my interpretations here haha) if that still stands then i don't think my personal is a good idea - i do have a blog just for themes if that's why you followed, though
hi!! sorry for the late reply i hit post limit - but that byf thing only refers to people stanning for her and acting like she did something wrong when i dont know theyre a survivor, i have no problem with how you cope seeing as how i like jasper as a coping thing too. is it ok to still follow you?
hi hi! sorry to disturb, i was just going thru the notes of one of my themes (thank you for the kind words on it btw!) and happened to see that you haven't imported the bold and italic versions for open sans from google fonts - this makes the bold text blurry and hard to read, as i just noticed >.< i'm sorry if you were already aware of this, but i used to do something similar and learned the hard way to import the other styles so i thought i'd let you know
hi! thank you so much!! i thought google fonts would include the styles but i guess not! it’s all fixed now, thanks for the heads up! :)))

I mean, on the one hand the previous point was literally “hes not an alien” so like ??? but on the other hand i literally cannot think of a reason why those two sentences would go together that arent Jesus Fucking Yikes honestly

i feel like that just sums up everything wrong with focusing on ableist language alone and thinking "cool my work here is done"
honestly though lmao
