SHE CAME BACK TO US.
It was no secret that Spencer was a bit of a loner in the BAU. But it actually didn't bother him at all; sure, he'd occasionally hang out with Garcia and Morgan. Yet, he found solace in his books and intellectual pursuits, feeling more at home in the world of knowledge than in social gatherings. If anything, he truly missed JJ. He was happy for her new promotion, but he missed the little bond they had created. She never judged him for his quirky interests or eccentric activities, making him feel accepted in a way few others did. Which he truly needed, especially when Gideon had left. Gideon had been a mentor and a father figure to Spencer, and his sudden departure left a void that was hard to fill. JJ's understanding and support had been a comforting presence during that difficult time.
Right now, he was feeling a lot due to the heavy caseload the team was going through. The stress was palpable, and he couldn't help but wish JJ were there to offer her calming presence and insightful advice. The weight of the investigations was taking its toll, and he longed for the reassuring words and camaraderie that JJ always brought to the team. But Spencer had to try to focus, as he really had to understand the unsub's motivations and patterns. The pressure was immense, but he knew that cracking this case was crucial. He took a deep breath and delved back into the profiles, determined to find the key that would bring them closer to catching the perpetrator. But as he was deep into learning about the unsub, Hotch called for him, pulling his attention away from the file in front of him. Spencer's eyes met Hotch's, noting the urgency in his boss's expression. "Reid, we need you in the conference room," Hotch said, his tone leaving no room for hesitation.
Spencer moved with a sense of urgency, picking up the case files and hastily making his way to the conference room. As he stepped inside, his heart skipped a beat at the sight of JJ standing there, a familiar warmth in her eyes. Her presence instantly brought a sense of relief, and he couldn't help but smile, feeling a renewed sense of hope amidst the chaos. Once Hotch told them about a new lead in the case, Spencer immediately went to hug her tightly, unable to contain his emotions. "I've missed you so much, JJ," he whispered, feeling the weight of his stress lighten just a bit.

"All of our unsubs in the video are wearing masks but Garcia is doing her best to give us any information she can about the recording. Hopefully that will narrow it down a little. ok but i remember your carol from when i wrote glenn years ago (heydumbcss) and you’ve always seemed to understand carol so incredibly well and have brought so much to her, like i would fully believe you invented her
